Yowza — 94 Utah Companies Make the Inc. 5000 List for 2024, with 64 Repeat Honorees

Although it may not match last year's record number of Inc. 5000 honorees (which was 102 Utah-based firms), one has to admit that 94 firms is still pretty dang impressive. That's especially true given that on a per capita basis, Utah should only have 50-ish Inc. 5000 honorees in 2024.

Well, the results are out, again.

And this year, 4 separate Utah-based firms have made the grade as honorees on the 2024 Inc. 5000 ranking.

When you parse through the data shown below on this year's Inc. 5000 list, what you find is

  • The highest ranked Utah-based firm came in at No. 74, with
  • A three-year growth rate of 4,105% (from 2021 through 2023), while
  • The lowest ranked Utah-based firm placed at No. 4,904.
  • A three-year growth rate of 76%.

Between them, these 94 firms had a 230% median growth rate, while 64 of the 94 firms were repeat honorees.

While I will not go into great detail in this report about the 94 different Utah-based firms that made this fun ranking, readers can dive into greater detail by visiting the 2024 Inc. 5000 writeup here.

But for now, here's a quick overview.

{NOTE: Utah-based companies shown below are placed in descending order, based upon "ranking" on the 2024 Inc. 5000 list, with their respective three-year percentage growth shown in parentheses, followed by their respective industry category and their headquarters city. Additionally, firms highlighted with an asterisk ("*") following their names are repeat honorees.}

Bottom line: Congrats to all Utah-based firms that made the grade in 2024 and landed on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing firms over a three-year period (2021 —2023).
