NEWS BRIEF: Two Utah Firms have been Awarded Multiyear U.S. Military Contracts Worth a Combined $56.6 Million
Two Utah-based firms have recently been awarded multiyear contracts by two branches of the U.S. military worth a combined $56.6 million.
The first is Ogden, Utah-based Automotive and Industrial Supply Company (AIS), which was recently awarded a three-year contract by the U.S. Air Force worth $46.6 million.
According to the official contract notifications section of the U.S. Department of Defense website, AIS was selected by the USAF and "... awarded a $46,586,584 three-year, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract."
Under terms of the contract, AIS will provide "... just-in-time delivery of aerospace coatings, sealants, and technical assistance to support the Ogden Air Logistics Complex (at) Hill Air Force Base (in) Utah." (Emphasis added.)
Work on the AIS contract is expected to wrap-up by 14 July 2027, which suggests work should begin within the next two months (if it has not done so already).
Contract No. 2
Separately, H&H Builders of Tooele, Utah has been awarded a $10.0 million contract by the U.S. Army.
According to the official contract notifications section of the DoD website, the $10.0 million firm-fixed-price contract is "... for sustainment, restoration and modernization projects."
However, no additional information is provided on the type of work to be done, although the contract is slated for completion by 19 May 2029.
Formed in 1991 by the husband and wife team of Victor and Kristy Hammond, H&H Builders is a general contractor that was specializes in Commercial, Industrial and Federal Base Projects.
H&H is also a Federally registered Central Contracting Registration (CCR) Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.
